Most yoga mats — even natural rubber ones — end up in landfill when they wear out. Mayura Reborn was built to break that cycle. We collect mats of any brand, shred and process the rubber, and press it into a new generation of Reborn mattresses — thicker, denser, and carrying the story of every mat that came before.

A four-step circular process — built so nothing leaves the loop.
Drop off any brand's worn mat at our 14 collection points across Sri Lanka, or book a free doorstep pickup. We accept all natural rubber mats in any condition.
Mats are sorted by rubber grade, cleaned, and mechanically shredded into fine granules at our Colombo processing facility.
Granules are blended with a small percentage of fresh Ceylon rubber for structural integrity, then heat-pressed into dense new mattress sheets.
Each finished Reborn mat is tested, stamped with its batch number and recycled rubber percentage, and certified ready for the studio floor.

Dropped off three old mats — two Mayura, one Manduka. Pickup was seamless and my discount code arrived the same day. The Reborn Earth mat I ordered is genuinely impressive.
We returned 18 mats from our studio. Bulk pickup was arranged on a Saturday — no disruption to classes. The Reborn Studio mats we received in return are our students' favourites.
The batch number on the underside makes it feel like an object with a real history. I love knowing exactly which recycling cycle my mat came from. A genuinely different product.
